As a new person who started in January my observation over the last few months is that the current IC is all about gaming the system. There are so many people who are just submitting PEFs with bogus info just to hit that number it is shocking! I was legit told to find an office that will fill them out and submit them even though there’s no real need. I am appalled. There are people on my team where PEF:start is laughable. But hey, as long as you make that number am I right? Goals do not reflect the real rare disease need.

as has been stated before, you don’t see true rare disease products advertised every 30 minutes on every channel. This is the bosses wife’s pet project. All a big game to prove she is worthy.

This is not new, unfortunately many people have been playing the game since day 1. The mass exodus late last year was partially due to this. This may be rare disease but the heads of the OBU are treating it like primary care.

it would be more cost efficient for them to cut salary and force people to quit rather than have to pay out severance in the case of a layoff. The remaining, disgruntled reps would likely slack giving them ample reason to fire them for cause. If I were a horizon rep, I’d leave now before the flood of displaced reps hit the market. No one is getting their RSUs paid out, so no sense waiting for it.
