Consider this for the moment;
It makes good business sense for NQ to let the contract run out on 4/6/09. Especially if a new contract calls for a lower starting salary. We are in a CAPITALIST society...to make money. Some of us may not get "called" back because we did not do the job we said we would do in out interview. Survival of the fittest. 7 months is not long enough to "expect entitlement" of being automatically re-hired. If you remember on a previous call, we were told that we could be brought back within 30 days and not have to go through a background check, driving record, etc. I am VERY THANKFUL for the 75 days severance, if that's what you want to call it.
