Another reduction in force!

They were probably all Verispan people. I saw a lot of Verispan expats while I was at ImpactRx. Almost all of them were big fat useless tits. You hear me Todd Sparling?

Are you kidding me? Forget about bonuses, forget about a new building. Cutting 10% of the staff and Andrew didn't sound like there was any new business on the way. John Ross is yelling at the sales people, but there's not much to sell and fewer people to sell to. We're lucky to have jobs right now.

Another layoff planned in near future. Panic is not a viable management tool. Think of all the intellectual assets you've sent out the door. what a loss to SDI, now those left are too scared to use their creativity because they are paralyzed thinking that they will be in the next group to be "reduced in force". Think out of the box SDI, there are other ways!@!!

When the economy gets better you will see a mass exodus of employees from SDI, overall SDI has engenered no loyalty-when or if we see the Kresses' take paycuts or no salary and set the example for the team, rather than always laying off, then, maybe we could have respect for our management. Your employees are looking to you for leadership and transparency, we have seen neither to date. Talk to your people, we have good ideas, don't stifle your employees.

Yelling at sales people is not very motivating, it only paralyzes us!
What a sales strategy!???

The "strategy" will be less sales people. Can't you see that???

Letting sales people go is the death spiral for any company.....laying people off in panic is not a strategy-panic in these difficult times leads to unwise decisions. Stop looking at the short term fix and look at the big picture-you have the worst morale, what are you doing for the poor people left doing the work of 3 people.

I agree!! We have too many sales people that don't sell anything and we have too many Vice Presidents that don't seem to do anything. It seems like everyone from Verispan was a VP and I haven't met one yet that is worth whatever they're getting paid. Andrew needs to seriously reorganize this company and get rid of all that high priced dead wood. The people like us, who do all the real work would be more productive without all those chiefs running around trying to justify their jobs!!

Coming from a client I am not surprised to read some of this. We have had issues with Verispan and SDI in the past and now I can see why. A few years back Verispan's customer service was at least up to par, but we've never liked the big wigs at either company. Way too arrogant, especially from SDI. Main reason I stay away, and I know others within my company feel the same way. Good luck.
