Another reduction in force!

We hear the same thing all the time. SDI service people complaining about the Verispan people, Verispan people complaining about the SDI people. We need to get our act together. Customers can see right through that and who wants to do business with a company where their employees back-bite each other.

Former employee can vouch for all the "benefits" of being employee of the new SDI: No 100% 401K match! No merit increases! No year end bonuses! Cut in PTO/Holiday time! Taking more from hard-working employees & giving much less. Using recession as excuse to rip-off employees. Just sad.

Life used to be good at the old SDI. Small company, run well and we shared in the success. Verispan managers seem to have this sense of entitilement. Maybe from all the years of the board throwing good money to a lousy management team. We'll get back to the good old days once Andrew gets rid of all the worthless Verispan VP's.

The little arrogant %$#@* Andrew bit off more than he can chew this time. He doesn't like the color red and the company is bleeding. Morale is in the sewer and mgmt could give 2 craps. After 3 layoffs they expect people to work even harder? It is a lousy place to work. So much negativity ever since takeover. I'm glad I'm getting out. There is life and jobs outside of SDI. The sad thing is they hope more people leave voluntarily because it saves them on severence. Good luck to those that stay. Hey Napoleon, aka Andrew, how about a pay cut for yourself to show the little people you feel their paid? After all you are the one who screwed this up.

I think that the new investors in SDI may be a little less thrilled with Andrew and he may be feeling the heat. I wonder who now is really running the Company. Maybe the budget for hair products will get cut too.

I think SDI acquired Verispan right before the market went south. How badly did they over pay? Wayne Yetter is kicked back and looking fairly savy now. Who would have guessed.

All you Verispan cry babies shut up! If SDI didn't come in and save your ass Yetter would have run company into the ground and you would be without jobs. The old geezer failed at everything he tried to do. Yes, SDI over paid for the dead weight at Verispan. No, the loses will not continue because after the next round of reductions in September there will be 25% fewer employees and one office, thats you Waltham, will be closed. Remember when Andy and his sugar daddy came around blowing sunshine up your ass 10 months ago.

Hahahahaha.. Suckers.

c'mon buck up. after all A Kress only eliminated 401k match, reduced vacation time, dropped a floating holiday, increased insurance premiums, 3 rounds of layoffs. we should be able to get along with less. This is the year of "Change" afterall. If the govt doesn't stick it to you, SDI will.
Does anyone really think AK is running the company? He is a paper lion.

All you SDI people sing the praises of King Kress as if he wouldn't give you all the boot too. All you brainwashed idiots (yes idiots) have the same arrogance as he does. What don't you get? Kress has no loyalty to you either. You didn't receive a bonus or a merit increase, your paid time off was cut, your 401K isn't matched, and you are losing the same clients just like we are. So unless your last name is Kress, you'd better be updating your resume as well. So who's the sucker now?

Take it from someone who no longer works for SDI, there is life after Verispan and SDI. These companies will never unite. Who are you kidding? It's just a shame to dedicate so much time and effort to a company that doesn't care about your contributions. Andrew and Pappa K will always make decisions without the best interest of their employees. They don't care about the SME's of their company. They still want to micro-manage and can't stand the thought that someone else might know better than them. They may have made money in the past, but now they are barely staying afloat. JR needs to talk a long hard look at himself. If he thinks that checking in on employees at 8 AM and 5 PM is motivating, its demoralizing. What are we in Kindergarten? Treat your employees like adults and give them the respect they deserve. Be honest and share with them the truth. I know that's a foreign concept for this management team.

most people are just showing up for a pay check. why would anyone put forth any effort for this mgmt team? in a better economy more people would be gone and mgmt knows it.
there is no light at the end of the tunnel. when all is said and done all SDI will have done is bought the data and hardware. no verispan employees will be left standing.

Whatever happened to Steve Davis? He knew everything about the data and how to find real solutions. He was smarter than any salesperson they ever had.

overpaid and flamboyant. he was one of the main reasons there was such a a turf war between Waltham and PA. he was "asked" to leave but rumor has it he got a huge $$$$$ package
