Better basil ensulin

You don't know what you're talking about. Thanks for being stupid--it makes my job easier.

sorry have talked to repeated endo's they all say the same thing. Will not use this drug, totally waste of a product, except maybe in the hospital realm where they can have someone managing the frequency of dosing. To trust that a person at home will stay complaint and dose every 2-3 days, is a bit far fetched. We are talking about people who cant even remember to do it daily. But again we are talking about Novo reps who drink the koolaid no matter what.

You have no idea how the product will be dosed. Neither do your endos. You're an idiot.

This is the point. Nobody knows how the product is going to be dosed, because nobody has a clue how it works og how the time-action is controlled. Another nice try Novo, another useless new product with the only advantage being you can charge a higher price. Why don't you find something meaningfull to do ?

Hilarious. Again. Thanks for being stupid!

LMAO........Had a really hard day....laughed until I was crying. This person is not for real. Thanks I needed to release some stress

Interesting to see that current Novo employee's are already brainwashed to blindly trust degludec's success. What if it does not happen ? what if non-inferiority towards Lantus re Hba1c is not good enough, and what if the authorities do not believe Novo's manipulated trials to show marginal improvements in hypo frequency ? - That is, the evidence is not sufficient to warrent a price premium over Lantus ? - and the price of Lantus drops rock bottom ? What can we expect to hear -more stupid, arrogant Novo comments ?

What can you expect? Go ahead and expect Novo to continue to be #1 in the insulin market. You're hilarious, though--I love the fact that you assume our trials are manipulated. Try that one on your docs in the field!!

The trials are manipulated to show marginal improvements in hypo frequency in rare cases of extreme non-adherence with a regular schedule. Guess what they would show in cases of a realistic non-adherence, i.e., one or two injections per week slightly off-schedule ?

Correct, non-inferiority to Lantus. Should anybody pay a premium price for that ? of course not. Forget it.

This post is spot on. Why would anybody enter a regime with a random spacing of 12, 24 or 36 hours between injections ? Nobody would do that in practice. 24 hours spacing is simple, and a few misses will not mean any difference from Lantus. Congratulations Novo, you once again succeded in making life very complicated. Why do you want others to pay for your stupid "innovations" that only serve to make things more complicated ?

See the earlier posts. None of you dumbasses has any idea how this product will be approved for dosing. Good to see you're scared already!

And, just so you know, Lantus QD never showed superiority to NPH QD in A1c reductions. It's called insulin, dumbasses! Give a patient more, and their A1c goes down. You guys are great, though! Always good for a laugh!

Lilly boy here. Are you suggesting that if you give patients more and more basil insulin that their A1C always goes down. I wonder, you may want to read up on that a bit. Again, I would have loved to be in the field to here this detail. How, variable is your basil insulin? I know I know....next response... Where is Lilly's basil. That is a good response for a person who does not have a answer. Beat you to the punch. So lets keep it moving. Again, I am hoping for your sakes you understand how insulin works and when and where basil insulin has its impacts on A1c's. I'm sure with as many shots at creating a basil insulin that Novo has trained you on this important piece of info.

Lilly & S-A boys, all together: Make no mistake that Novo will do everything to create an illusion that degludec is better than Levemir. Could it be any worse ?

Also, make sure that Novo will show beyond any doubt that, if you compare Lantus and degludec in a regimen comprising random injections at random strength at random times, degludec will have 10% lower chance of causing a hypo episode once every other year. That is, if you forget you are diabetic, and simply forget to eat, in which case you'll be cured anyway.

But, this will only be true if you remember to leave out every third injection every other day at every second chance you get. Otherwise, degludec is no different from the rest. If you adhere strictly to this schedule, degludec represents a truly innovative way of screwing up insulin treatment. Novo is leading the way of complicating the lives of diabetics. Unless, of course, you're fat, in which case we continue to recommend Levemir, the only insulin that does nothing at all.

This basil ensulin thread is growing into a sorry joke. WTF is Novo doing trying to position themselves as innovators with deglufuck coming ? Truely ridiculous. If you inject yourself at random, you'd be better of injecting yourself with something that does not work. For this purpose we already have Levemir. How can you possibly do worse than Levemir ? Now Novo has the answer: inject yourself with deglufuck, and nobody including yourself will feel any difference. No matter when or how much you inject. Big deal. Nonsense diabetes treatment. Does anyone want to pay ??

Lilly boy... I could not agree more. While Lilly is the joke of Diabetes for not having a basil yet, this drug has 0 chance in the primary care and outpatient world of success. Does the words routine, COMPLIANT, mean anything to Novo reps. Wow. On one hand they were out in droves saying, Bydureon is not a gonna be a good option because patients need a routine, and once a week is not a routine. Then on the other hand, they will try to suggest that taking a drug that either A) offers nothing more than lantus or or the worst diabetes drug ever Levemir or b) they will try to promote longer lasting insulin thus do not need to take shots daily. This then suggest just what is the suggested dosing schedule that offeres a benefit over lantus or Levemir, that Physicians can trust patients, who again or non-compliant by nature, to follow a sporadic schedule and take this new Basil that offers what that is not already out there.

Lets see, now your gonna say, well use Lantus twice a day, Levemire once a day, and this drug once ever other day... Really? Are you kidding me.

This is hilarious. Get it together Novo. This and levemir combined will not get you to 20%^ market share the Basil war.

Wake up. Where have you been? The M-W-F dosing thing was scrapped over a year ago. If you're going to shoot your mouth, at least be educated. You and Lilly Boy are convinced you know everything about everything, but you just keep being wrong over and over again.
