Novolog / Lantus user here. Rep for different company.

Seeing your discussion about how Lantus pen has improved,

Lantus pen feels far superior to Novolog pen. Lantus pen pushes smooth and feels much better constructed to Novolog pen.

Cannot possibly be true. Novo always has superior devices. Try again please.

Solostar is the best pen the competition has to offer, and is also the one that most closely resembles a Flexpen. Coincidence?

Has anyone got their hands on a Flextouch yet? provided it proves to be reliable it will be the best device by far.

Sorry you got passed over in our last expansion. Perhaps if you weren't an idiot, you would have gotten the job. But, go ahead and pretend that Novo is terrible and we have terrible products--we'll keep enjoying our double-digit growth and you can keep posting hate mail on Cafe Pharma!

Sorry friend... but i have been begged to come to Novo. Have the emails to prove it asking 3 times for a interview. Told them over the phone no go, advised the manager now a trainer no go, and I am not even in diabetes anymore, making much better money now base and bonus wise.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but for 2 years your peps called etc, and even a manager from the west coast who happened to be intown visiting his family, reached to your hiring team and hence the letter that "I was identified etc by Mr. xyz....." giving me x amount of days to respond to the email for a interview, then a follow up phone call. No go.

I will say Novo diabetes is a much better force. I will agree, but my sights were much bigger than staying in diabetes and at the time, thought LAR was around the corner and there was a tottal off the record conversation about that. Also the manager now trainer told me about trips your team takes, and something about paying cleaners bills, and even some other perks.

I have nothing against Novo as a company, it is one of the bright stars in this pharma industry. It is turning big profits and they play hard ball (including false marketing of competition stuff and biased study's, and manipulating the no branding rule) but they play to win and they are, and doctors choose them because of their effective strategy marketing wise. So my hats off to you all, keep up the great work.

I like the way you try to hide your bitterness with backhanded compliments. I love laughing at your increasingly ridiculous posts. We pursued you, right???.....but, you run to our boards, time after time, and post your crap. Funny, funny, funny Lilly Boy!!

Funny thing is i did not start the back and forth and just responded to your weak rants to shut you up and let you know. I was called out of the blue twice and once set down with the guy from the west coast, who i now a trainer. I don't have to make this shiyit up, no need to. The gentleman is named Mr. Goes. That is all I will say. The main reason was simply they mentioned the area recruiter who was the rep when i started recommended me. Probalby because i took all the meal time market share from you all, and was killing with Byetta. i tell you what I will post the email that was sent twice to me asking me to interview with you all and i declined....

Hi xxxxx xxxxxx,

xxxxxx xxxx has referred you for employment at Novo Nordisk.

You were referred for the following job(s):
Pharma Field Sales - Diabetes Care Specialist (DCS) – Pomona, CA, 1584BR

To submit your resume and complete the submission process click here

*You have 14 days from the date in which this email was sent to apply to this job and up to 5 clicks of the link. Should 14 days or 5 clicks expire, you must contact the employee at Novo Nordisk who referred you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Obviously i was no moving form east coast to west As i told him, when he flew out here. No not for me, he has family here, but met with me while here. Recommended me along with your area trainer and obviously the numbers at the times (grew from 36% market share humalog to over 78% meal time and was number 2 in the country with Byetta), for the job out here. Plus went to college with several people that work in your Nj location.

My record in sales has and continues on oncology to be top notch. Never ever finishing outside of top 1/3 2 out of 4 years top 5 total porfolio, 2 presidents council awards and now in the number 3 in Oncology after taking a territory that was 147 out of 148.

You can slam me and Lilly all you want, but facts are facts. I will be fine, and Im am certain there are some on here that have even more impressive records that this. However, the fact remains Novo reached out 3 times and I agree your company diabetes wise is the best organization out there, but at the time I thought LAR was coming out, was on the Brand time (1 of 2 field reps in the country with lilly to be on the brand team) and believed it would get approved. Dumb me. However was since promoted to Oncology and not in Diabetes anymore. But love to look back at the war between the two organizations. Once that i will agree novo is winning. Except if you look at the meal time insulin numbers lately Lilly is coming back thanks to finally winning in the Hospital area with Small vial and these patients are refilling in the outpatient area with Humalog most of the time.

Victoza is a better option than Byetta. I have always said that. It is foolish to suggest to a physician to write 2 shots over 1 with equal or better efficacy that also give lunch time control. All the rhetoric about science etc is BS. Doctors or 95% of them do not care. Most reps are not qualified or respected enough to get that deep anyway, and 99% of physicians will not take your word for it anyway, they will research and talk it over with speakers or peers..So the true message is less is best, when it comes to shots.

Dance, Lilly Boy, Dance!! Tell me again how great you are! We all want to know!!! You're a fucking idiot...you know that, right? You get played time and time again on this board. Someone says something to make fun of you and you post a 10 paragraph response, which is exactly why they make fun of you. Are you getting it, Lilly Boy? Probably not, you idiot fuck.

Why not save Lilly Boy from further trashing and look at Novo:

1. Levemir: Huge interpatient variability. Unknown dependence of BMI. Lack of efficacy in general. Injection site reactions of unknown origin. Unpredictable.

2. Victoza: Cancer suspicion coming out of preclinical studies in at least two species. Pancreatitis incidence clearly above reference. Do we need Victoza ? Do patients ?

3. Degludec: Clinical studies seriously flawed as they compare with Glargine at irrelevant dosing. Degludec has no clinical relevance compared to Glargine dosed according to instructions. What is the relevance of Degludec over current therapies ? None.

4. Oral insulin: Meal-releated oral insulin is a serious waste of time and money. Why would you want to waste resources improving a therapy already optimized over the past 60 years ?
Would society be better of spending tax money on improving e.g. cancer or alzheimers treatment ? Yes.

5. Oral GLP-1: What do we want with GLP-1 agonist treatment anyway ? Increased pancreatitis and pancreas cancer are being established. What else do we need ? Nothing really.

I hope you don't work for Novo Nordisk. Normally, morons get screened out during the interview process, so I'll assume that's what happened to you. Thanks for regurgitating the same stupid shit that you have been for the last 6 months. It reaffirms my original thoughts.

Takes a lot of dancing and typing to cut and paste. Love discrediting you all for years. Then some one gets on here and acts as if i have to lie about a job offer from your organization. No need to lie.

The funny thing is I am not on here trashing your organization, but you all still want to act immature and everything. So be it.

ohh by the way,, since we are all in this to make $, you want to call me a idiot F... funny your the one getting all upset, and hot under the collar because i simply show that your company has wanted me to come over, and have shown over the other years many things that gets your weak ass all rilled up....

Now i could show you why i opted for specialty oncology... maybe you will understand what a 35k bonus check in one quarter on top of 170K base. now some on here will doubt or not believe. Part of that is because unlike novo Lilly has other divisions, you all are almost entirely diabetes, and some other very small no one every heard of divisions in the US. When it all comes down to it, idiot..everything I have been involved with vs Novo has came up roses for me..

You continue getting pissed off at a chat... a message board, and keep on getting small bonus checks etc. I will continue making 250-300K. Maybe when your dumbass gets more intelligent and realize that this is hilarious getting in your head and others, and even have yoiu all creating threads telling some to ignore me..LOL.. all the while i do my thing.. Who is the idiot. Maybe your dumbass does not comprehend how the end result is what matters.. How long where you all on here trying to prove victoza was not Shitoza... Hilarious. Who was in whose head.

Re-read the e-mail, dumbshit. You were referred for an opening. That e-mail you received goes to EVERYONE who has a resume submitted for an opening at NNI. But, for you, that's probably the closest thing you ever came to a job offer at NNI.

As for the "cut and paste" that you did--I guess you forgot about your other 4 pargraphs? Oh well....I see it took you 2 posts (and more bragging about yourself and your salary) to answer mine. SHOCKER, Lilly Punk!

You friend show just how weak you are, its hilarious watching a board posting get under your weak ass skin. You make idiotic assertions and when someone shuts you up with facts..you start whinning dont brag..etc. Grow up, get some balls and stop whinning about a board post. Geez. Your weak. If you cant deal with the return fire or facts then shut up, stay home and study up on how you can sell more Victoza for the last couple of months you can get some sales from it before LAR comes and takes all that recently gained market share.. and i do mean recently gained. How long did it take you all to beat byetta. LOL

Finally, I never in my life have submitted a resume to Novo Nordisk. Maybe if you read dumb ass it says I gave me time to respond and in fact i recieved a call after this, then a call for a meeting. I actually even gave you the last name of the area trainer that flew out and met with me, and he is still with Novo. Maybe get my dick out your as$ toughen up, and accept that your company knew who was killing them in this territory and wanted me to come over. Do your research, you can reach out to the trainer and ask. I am sure he will tell you the truth.

If you dont want to take me up on this, the STFU, and stop whinning wimp. Hilarous seeing how weak and defeated you are. Never sent a resume in, why would I, make less, have a glp-1 that will sell for only 2 years. Have no where to get promoted to besides just one division... Yeah right....

I have to say Lilly boy has you on this. He does sound like fool arguing drugs he is not even selling anymore. However, he has a point in stating that he time after time has you venting on here and getting all bothered by what he says. Why don't you ignore him/her like the rest of us do. Maybe he/she will go away. As long as he sends something out whether accurate or not, and you respond and get all twisted up when he he/she responds, then they win. We are selling our drug just fine and it is obviously bothering them. Just keep on selling and let him pray his drug even gets approved.

If this person refused to interview for our company, that is their loss. Why argue with them over something you don't know if it is accurate or not. Just grow up, and move on.

What thoughts ? - Novo sure does a great job of regurgitating insulin over again. And then again. Unfortunately, there is no benefit to the patient or to society.

*??? Insulin remains by far the most effective drug to treat diabetes, and it simply does not matter that it has been around for nearly a century. I think we all forget how massive an advance it was, Type 1 Diabetes was 100% fatal before 1923 and type 2 patients suffered terribly.

**The newer versions are far safer, reliable and user-friendly than the older ones, and a steady improvement over decades with such a well known medicine is and should be a source of pride for NN and even Lilly.

Johnny come latelies such as S-A don't count esp. as glargine was developed by NN in the firstplace.

Stupid people like you don't respond to rational arguments, so I'll save my breath. Thanks for being an idiot, though. It reminds me why 5% of the people in the world make 95% of all the money.

Yes, why don't you save your breath for a couple of days and see what happens. I bet nothing will happen. Too damn many jack off managers in Novo make life difficult for those reps that try to deliver results.
