Date of Comp Change to 8%

Can anybody verify the targeted date to move the Comp plan to 8% of base sales? Have heard that it is a done deal, but timeline hasn't been finalized yet.

Any whispers of start date?

If I were in your shoes, I would get out before too many people start looking. The exodus has begun and you should all start looking prior to the mass exodus. Want to make sure you land on your feet prior to the floodgates opening to secure your spots while the competition is low.

Synthes was a great company. It had its issues, but it was a great culture for a long time. Now you have a bunch of "sellouts" in leadership and the writing is on the wall. JNJ and their lack of respect for the field and horrendous field leadership deserves what they are getting and are about to get. You know it is bad when icons who have great relationships with the top brass are deselecting JNJ.

Best of Luck!!

I use to think these posts were just negative gossip and rhetoric but holy crap, great people are leaving left and right.

Like John Lowe in Baltimore. Shock Trauma rep for something like 20 years now manager at Globus hired to help destroy the company he proudly help build. The cracks in the walls are too advanced. Time to run for shelter before it all comes crashing down.

Another Gregoris pick off! Rumor is he has a few other top guys targeted too.

Blood is in the water right now and the sharks are circling. Hope there are some experienced leadership in the field to help combat this or engagement from the field. Oh wait.... Most of the good people have been displaced or left.... You might want to reconsider how you are treating your sales consultants, they are what built this business and 75% of them are on the fence and are looking for a good deal to leave for an organization who values their Sales Teams for a change. The next question you need to ask yourself is how much business are you willing to lose in order to lower your bottom line. Lowering your cost to serve is great as long as you maintain your top line sales which you are failing to do. JJG (aka. The Hatchet Man) is losing and it is going to cost him his career Good Luck Saving This One!!!!!

The talent has already left. AO is trying to dissolve partnership by 2019. Crazy things happening right now.

End of the year. Also be ready to watch all of the AVPs from Mitek get their walking papers as their two year contract from going direct will be over. JNJ would rather lose millions of dollars in business then be sued due to an employment contract. Your days are numbered!! Hope it was fun while it lasted!!

You know that all Legacy Synthes folks are quietly or not so quietly are rooting on Globus as they all know that people like JJG and Sandor (aka. Shame-door) have killed the culture and are hoping that JnJ wises up and throws those two clowns to the curb!!!

^^^^ I left already but I am rooting for Globus. In 1 year the AO will be done w DS, 2 Years Stryker in the market leader in the US, 3 years DS will be another middling trauma company, like ZB and S/N with n credibility. 5 Years Globus will pass DepuySynthes. Another solid integration by J&J.

How at 8 % can they possibly hope to keep quality reps? Anyone with relationships will take their business for higher points. None of these positions are filled when tenured reps leave. How is that a sustainable business model for the future? At some point heads will have to roll for the complete disaster that this merger has become.
