Day 1: when and who?

Money makers? We're not a blockbuster company. We are a company with a lot of diverse small and medium products. Do you really think they would take our top handful of products that might make them what, $20MM of profit a year and ship them out and then sell the rest for a break even? They are a 10 billion dollar company. That's not how a $10BB company grows or runs its business. It's hard to believe how poor the business acumen is amongst most on this board....really pathetic.

They also don't pay to keep a company that makes money in nickels and dimes. Think about how much the assets are worth combined with the top products. Breaking even on an investment in two years is pretty damned good. Seems like a very viable plan. You might want to question your own business acumen.

How do you figure you could break even in 2 years? Do you even know the profit our company throws off? I bet you are clueless. Because if you knew, you'd know it would take a long time to repay $1.5BB.

Yeah....I know (but I'm not the one you were talking to). About $150 million, maybe a little more a year. So, just on raw profit, could be as much as 10 years to pay back the loan. Usually, the loan has interest due, so it would be even longer. 2 years is impossible.

I'm not the poster either, but what are the properties, the contents of them and the other products worth to sell off?

And...what if it's three years or four years? Still sounds possible to me. Wish I knew the answer.

Keep in mind that Fougera will remain a legally separate entity within Sandoz. That leaves them with a lot of options. They could keep the high-profit products, downsize to one building and sell off what remains.

Other than some paper work hurdles, it makes no difference. Guess we'll see if investments in both facilities proceed. If they do, that would be a sign they are not selling.

I am guessing after these "100 days" and by then end of the year, the branded dermatology sales force will disappear.Unless they buy or produce other derm products this doesn't suit their purpose. So to the Pharmaderm sales force keep your ears and eyes open you have about 4-5 months.

Seriously replies only! Do you think this is a possibility for the sales force? Would like to hear others thoughts on this quote above....Thanks!

It's really driven by Solaraze Gx timing. That's the engine sustaining PD. Once that goes south, the sales force will be right behind it. So, end of the year is totally wrong. Its later depending on the legal process. Know one knows exactly when. In the meantime, there is a possibility that other products may be found/acquired. Nobody knows for sure right now how this will go.

Very true, and one of the most recent Forecasts is that Solaraze will go generic by end on 1Q 2013, so that doesn't give anyone much time to buy something.

They can't shut us down, we're the new center of excellence for generic dermatology development and manufacturing within the global Sandoz network.

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha!!!
