Embarrassing

Most of the people I see leave this place end up having several jobs in a short period of time. It’s laughable and shows that they will be miserable anywhere. It’s probably the wrong industry for them. Just check LinkedIn. This happened the other day. Someone was telling me how they hated Bayer but was on their 4th company in 5 years. It’s not that bad here. They are paying well and lots of launches in the next couple of years.
The industry is a shit show right now and perhaps they were laid off or they took a risk to join a company that was a start up and they did not have funding. its not that they left for something better. People don't leave one company if they are appreciated or they are respected, they don't even leave if they like the culture or feel confident that they are landing in a good place, however they do leave toxic bosses, secrecy, lack of transparency and culture all which is what Bayer is and continues to do. Bayer used to be an amazing culture and although for a couple years we did not make LTI/STI or our merit was shit, we still pushed through because we liked the people and culture we were a part of however since DSO and the secrecy that has followed, people are scared, they don't trust leadership and they feel that its better to protect themselves and leave than to stay. That said, its hard to move on because you don't know where you are going and what its all about until you start so its safe to assume the industry is a complete shit show and therefore this is why people keep moving because culture in Pharma sucks right now. so do we trust the devil we know or the devil we don't... sometimes its worth the risk to leave

This comment is written by a useless long timer at Bayer who held their position at any cost. Legacy Bayer employees are incompetent to find a job elsewhere. Stop criticizing and feeling jealous of people able to find 4 jobs in 5 years. Someone wanted to hire them and mostly make better $. Bayer is one the worst companies to work for currently. Had a great culture in the past does not make it better now. From a over 100 B $ company to below $30B in just 7 years is amazing for sure. Shows incompetency.
