As with anything, you don't know how well a person is fit for the position until they do it. We all have been there every time we change companies, professions etc. the DC team is a unique one and it takes a special type of person to lead it. So let her lead.
 


They should have gone outside of the organization or collapse the district. DC has always been toxic from the top down. That's why so many people fled throughout the years. When you look at it compared to the surrounding districts ie. Maryland, VA, and even Philadelphia, they lead turnovers 4 to 1. As long as there are ties with the former manager, it will always be a dark cloud over that district. Everyone gives them the side eye at the NSMs. That's probably why no one outside of that district wanted to be the manager. They are a real hellish group.

Being on this team is hell and now the devil is sitting on her throne drinking ice water while her satan father is coaching her on from SE Hell and her lucifer godfather is chowing down on Philly cheesesteaks. This was just wrong. Emails, conference calls and meetings were led by someone else and this is what happens. It looks like the ones that get the short end of the stick are the ones that actually helped the team and didn't rock the boat. The ones that say Eff it, kiss my Azz, be damn bossy and ballsy are the ones that get noticed and get the big bucks.

And we all know who you are. Fair is fair. Not one district had as much turnover as dc and I'm told that this is before the restructuring. One poster said 11. That's a lot of people in 6 years. A manager that stays for 5 minutes speaks volume of the toxic nature of the team. Anyway keep sipping on your poison juice while we have an unofficial pod meeting about networking and updating our resumes.

Some are just too old for this business now a days and need to create drama. The voices in your head should all be on meds. Three people on the D.C. Team are capable and well qualified for the job. TM is professional as well as a great person that cares about his people. Maybe you should be thankful for the opportunity and money you made with Purdue before you crawl back in your hole!

embarassing how many comments this thread has! Purdue is pathetic! Everyone bitches about people being brought in from outside and then shits on people promoted from inside. The moron TM was forced to hire was incompetent (I know someone who worked for him before) but he played the game and hired him. Even that moron saw how pathetic Purdue was. My friend told me he didn't even list Purdue on his resume. Then TM promotes from within and gets bashed. So happy I left this place. I love to come on and see how nothing's changed. Same group of whiney children. TM is one of the last stand up guys left. Sad that even he gets shit on by you assholes! Names. Initials. Something. People get real puffed up on social media but are scared to mention names. You letting your audience down. So many of them mofos have fled dc pissed. Hell yall probably made them crazy. Then you mentioned old. How long were they on the team. Are they still there now? Male/female. One name. The attacks on here are really awful. I can see how someone can be frustrated if they thought that they were getting a job and it went to someone else, but it seems that it is more than just that going on. Maybe you all need to just communicate. There is nothing you can do about not getting the job you wanted or maybe not liking the person who got the job, but maybe it was not the position for you. If anyone has any problems with data moving in and out of the territories then confront the source of the problem. Complaining to the public does nothing but create more chaos. There seems to be some personal attacks with current and former employees and people in other districts. In the end, be thankful that we all have jobs. Stop the personal attacks unless you are willing to face the consequences. This is really not a good look. I urge you to reach out to one another. When others get involved in your problems, the situation increases.By the way, Purdue only hires the best, at least they use to, so no I don't believe anyone that was hired was just good, but great. If you know me, then you know I contact you directly for anything that is of concern, and you definitely would know my motto. Talk about me all day but make sure what you say is true. Go ahead and keep me relevant but in the meantime I'm copying these posts. Sit tight and wait for your certified letter. You just stepped into a sandbox that you couldn't possibly be ready for.

Too sweet...I had some great memories here and was surprised that anyone would think that at my "old" age that I had such unflattering things to say on a site like this. Very disheartening. However, I'm thankful for the phone call. Always pretty never petty. xoxoxo
