How to get promoted in the Midatlantic


dysfunctional dc strikes again and still you guys are the biggest cheaters of all time. it will be interesting to see how call file decisions will be handled in the future when the dms get involved.but don't ever mess wit my dollars again. I'm checking everything.
 
Wow. Rant much. Crazy ass post. I'm happy for a female promoted to D.C. I'm sure she deserved it. My 2 cents for being at Purdue a few years. All I see are Blacks and Females being promoted-they need them. Too many inequalities in the past and after a multitude of Lawsuits Purdue is backtracking trying to cover their asses. TM is the worse of the worse. He is forced to promote minorities as he is definitely part of the Good Ole' Boys Club. He also does not do the right thing (what happened to Integrity training) when Dr's move in and out of territories he will choose his favorites to move- If you want to win at Purdue suck up to him. If your a woman on the bottom of the sales rankings. Go stand next to him at your next meeting. Guarantee he won't look you in the eye, if he's too uncomfortable he will walk away. Everyone is scared about who manages this team because the country gets screwed with call file antics. Stupid shanigans have gone on too long. The call file dumping has to stop.,and I don't know why anyone would choose one person over the other to manage D.C. They are all sneaky bastards especially the short one. She is the worst of them all. Let's try this when a doctor is in your territory add him. Don't wait until the history is gone. That's not in the rule book. When a doctor moves, delete him. Don't wait for him to stop writing and then delete him. And finally, stop dumping doctors in territories where they are not located. Unethical bastards. It seems that more than one district has been screwed by this group. As one poster said this group is toxic from the top down. Maybe someone should give MT this thread since TM doesn't give a shit.
 
Glad I got out early. I see satan is up to his old tricks. Playing one person against another and then making someone else look like the guilty target. Anyone sane should just get out before what's left of your soul is gone. Seems like he's still running the show.

1. DC is a metro market place. There are always going to be physicians moving in and out of offices to other locations. Just like any other district or TBM people take things personally when it affects them negatively and don't say anything when it affects them positively.
2.the RFT DID NOT want the job ( i'm sure she's happy to work for somebody who is internal to Purdue and who she knows, if your that curious...ask her). Good chance she would have got it if she had gone for it but that wasn't the case
3. I'm sure the person who got it was not the only candidate but she's obviously worked to get it. those who think differently, do you even know her or know anything that she dad to work towards getting the job?
4. They hired from the outside first and it didn't work
5. The previous manager allowed chaos and grudges to be held on the team for whatever reason. Probably a good guy but not mature
6. People have left this team but still hold on and stay involved for some strange reason, it's like an obsession
7. This site is disgusting and everyone reads what's posted as if it's the gospel truth. Most likely it's the same handful of people posting over and over again trying to make it seem like it's someone else. Ask yourself; why does anyone care this much about other people. This is a job, that's it!

BS runs down hill. The ATBM is DM and the former RFT will become ATBM. The system works for some and not others. Stop complaining about it and learn how to work it like dc did. TM's favorite group never stayed on top by accident. Favors go a long way. If he likes you, you are golden. If he doesn't, be prepared to work your butt off and enjoy success when you get it. Now interview for some other position in the company, it's not like there aren't any vacancies.

All of these Mid-Atlantic teams have lost at least 4/5 reps in the last year alone - crazy. Is it Purdue, the managers, the RD -who knows. I'd suggest if you are unhappy leave. FYI there is life after Purdue!

I second that. I'm old Purdue too. Life after Purdue is great. Life before new Purdue was great. There are no more checks and balances so RD and DM are free to run on favoritism. Complaining gets you nowhere but more stress.
