NSM? Why the cancellation?

And just be lucky we didn't cut you to 5 % like we should have. All this whining makes me think reps should be fired and just use distributors. Hell, they are the tagged ones getting all the business. And for those complaining they were told to tag because there commissions wouldn't be cut. I say, so what if old Mgmt said that. We can change anything anytime we want. This sales force couldn't sell snowballs to eskimo's. Quit crying and find some new cheese you spoiled brats. You are all replaceable. Next thing you know you will all be complaining that we axed the activity this year at the NSM. If you want a massage, pay the damn 100$ yourself, you guys can afford it. Things are different and you all better get used to it. If not, get the hell out.

Wow! I'm just trolling this board and all I can say is, sounds like your management has an axe to grind with its sales people. Attitude is horrible.

Good luck to you...

Who would not have an ax to grind with greedy, ungrateful sales reps who forgot where they came from and forget that OFIX gave them an opportunity to double, triple and in some cases reps quadroupled there incomes. Your right some of these reps attitudes really suck. Like you have heard on these threads before, if you don't like it than go to the competition or whatever company of your liking. Go out and grow your sales by opening up new accounts on your own and grow your income. If you can't get the business yourself work through 3rd parties to help open doors that you would never get on your own. I realize some of you in school did not do so well in math because you can't figure out 6.5% is better than zero.

I forgot to add that not only are they greedy. But most are no talent losers who could not sell for any other company. They are lucky they have a job. I'm tired of hearing the complaining. If you are not happy making 6.5% and try to go to DJ to make 30%, I dare you to try and get out of your non-compete. We got you by the nads!!hahaha

I am beginning to think that you are a fired sales rep or manager who is now struggling to find a job.

no in fact we are taking steps to ensure that you have a job for yrs to come. your just too selfish, immature and inexperienced to understand what a company needs to do in order to survive in the long term not the short term. You can't do the same thing you did 2,3,4 yrs ago because times have changed. Expenses need to be in line with revenue. When you are doing close to $20 million less YOY and reimbursement is declining you can't pay reps like you use too. Wake up OK...or take your game where you can do better. Why get so worked up. This is the situation either be mature and understand it or go for something better. Don't take it personal....it's called running a business.

If you can't pay reps like you used to. You surely shouldn't be increasing executive compensation and awarding stock grants and options like you used to. You must be too immature to understand that or quite possibly somebody with only finance background and no sales experience.

:(.... :(..... :(...... :(...... Boo Hoo Boo Hoo. Whine Whine Whine. Boo Hoo Boo Hoo

Whine Whine Whine. Let's have a pity party........1 2 3 Boo Hoo Boo Hoo Whine Whine Whine.

Take you energy and go sell something, grow your revenue, make more commissions. You still have the opportunity to make more. You just have to work for it Vs someone else opening up accounts for you. That's not reality, so grow up, sharpen your sales skills and let us see how good you really are; and if you can't get the business remember Accounting 101; 6.5% is more than zero.

And again..remember, you are all replaceable. You guys suck and are lucky we even let you work here. A monkey can sell stim. You a$$wipes are lucky to finally have a president like McMcmillan who knows how to grow business while improving the bottom line. Sales force doesnt havevto like him, but they will respect him. We should probably cancel NSM is in salt lake and do it in a Hampton inn in Oshkosh. Stop making fun of options and pay. If they can reduce commissions and help bottom line, they deserve it. Distributors should get 23 % and you should get 3 %. its better than nothin losers. Go work somewhere else, please

The only person getting all worked up on here is You. Your incessive insults to the sales force is getting old.

actually heard from a DJ contact that certain clinics are now being audited over stock/bill policies, asking for invoices from manufacturer for certain date ranges. believe this may be only in that certain region fwiw and one certain provider

It was just a matter of time. The "good old days" are ovEr. It's time to get your business the old fashion way.....now get out there and Hustle!

Hey, I understand and agree with getting out there and hustling. There is still a lot of money to be made that is just sitting there, at 6.5% or 10%. And I will be getting that business. But the reality is that the new commission structure does not motivate me to grow my business much (no incremental increase in commissions as I grow it - and a 10% bonus after YTD number hit is slim). Instead, I am looking at hitting my quota (which I will) and spending any other efforts on growing a side business that doesn't compete with stim. This is the problem that OFIX will face this year with the division making their 2012 annual forecast. Sure, there will be several reps that will leave because of the change - and I will say goodbye. But the smart ones will keep working with OFIX and do something on the side to supplement their income difference. I understand that upper management had to do what needed to be done to ensure the company stays financially healthy. But at the same time, the company cannot expect to hit their numbers this year (stim).

The management that stays with the company through all this will be too busy with hiring new reps and legal/compliance issues to focus on helping the reps that are here to hustle and make things happen in their territory. That is the real problem with this change up.

Do you realize how jacked up your thought process is?? "I will make quota, no more no less" shows just what kind of sales amatuer that you really are. Reeks of entitlement. I will do the minimum required and open a side job. I would fire you on the spot.
