Give the chick a break. She knows who butters her bread - you can't blame a girl for doing whatever she needs to do to keep her job. I think this conversation should continue to be about real reps out in the field who are facing different challenges.

"Doing whatever she needs to do to keep her job"? So, are we supporting the acts of sexual favors to keep one's job, or advance? How classy.

And DA calling a rep drunk (several times) to explain she can't make a day of working with a rep, and how she's slept her way to mid level management?
When you're sleeping with the mgmt team at Antech, only to earn that shit title, you may want to take a long hard look in the mirror and fix that situation.

Do female reps really find MM is worth sucking up to? Why is he walking some idiot to her room to get her ID? Do we ever ask that question? Was this person at risk for getting mugged on the way to her room? Obvious, pathetic, ass kissing, typical Antech behavior.
You think you're here because you do your job Anonymous?? I have news for you: It was probably assumed that you are easy, and you care about kissing ass. That's why you have your job. It doesn't matter what did or didn't happen. What matters is the professional image you portray to everyone. Heard of this concept before? Or new to this?

This place is nothing but a massive disaster waiting to happen. And based on what I'm reading, it won't be long. LOSERS.
 

MM escorting you to your room

If you "personally" saw me walk into a room with MM then you should've seen me walk right back out and down stairs and into the club with everyone else! Actually, as I recall he stood in the hall while I got my license out of my safe.

So, let's get this straight. You tried to get into the club, but did not have your license.

Then, MM, being the "gentleman" that he is, offered to escort you to your room, and then offered to wait outside while you went into your room to get your license. He was fearful of your safety in the "crappy" hotel we were staying in...right?

Do you think we are ALL idiots, or are you the idiot? He "escorted" you because he was hoping to get into your room, amongst other things.

I guess you showed that you were "honorable" by making him stay in the hall. Or, maybe you showed great restraint because you did not succumb to the dynamic charms of that great lady's man, even though you were aching to be with him.

Oh my, how did you resist him? Those muscles! Mmmm! That personality!

You're such a victim aren't you? Because you allowed MM to be such a gentleman and walk you to your room, and you kept him in the hallway, you are so innocent!!

And apparently, you just kick ass at your job hm? You are the only one left in your division right? Aren't you outstanding???

Let's be loud and clear with the truth here: You are perceived as an easy ass kisser, and as soon as you tire of that game, you are no more important to these people than anyone else here. Don't talk about former reps and their "Glory Days" at Antech. You are just pissed because you did something to make yourself look bad, and you are an obvious butt smoocher. It's ok. Just admit it the truth, and people can move on. Just don't play the whole "I'm such a great rep, and an innocent person" game. People see right through it.
 
It's amazing that people can assume things without merit. Why not stick with the facts. Stick with what IS wrong with Antech and how to diminish the frustrations reps have in the field. I am fairly certain I know who the accused person is - and I have to say she is good at her job, but is more pushover than ass kisser. There were several in that division recently terminated. One was decent- didn't hear a lot about him in the field. Now the other employee seemed to kick ass at manipulating numbers. There is always going to be rumors and BS- so stick with what you know and help find a solution!
 
I wouldn't care if this chick danced the hokey pokey all the way to her room and back with Mr. Mediocre (MM).
If those are the choices people want to make for themselves, just be happy that you aren't one of them.
It doesn't change how FU**ED up this company is.
Just one of the countless ways that Antech has the lowest standards in the industry.
 
All I can say is WOW! Management sleeping with employees, employees sleeping with clients, etc.etc.etc. Someone needs to grab this bull by the horns quickly. HR 101 says that this is a no no. This isn't the 70's, 80's, or even the 90's. If any of this is true, and the word on the street is that it is true, you guys need to change and change quickly. We clients do not want to be a part of this scenario. If partying, payoffs, and sex are the way you do business, we will take ours elsewhere. We want and demand quality service, products, and support for our business. Wake up and get with the real world. I would definitely stay away from this company until there is a complete cleansing of this behavior. IDEXX is no better. So all of you locals and smaller companies, please continue to call on our practice. We may be changing and changing soon. Thank you.
 
You are not going to get any support from this company. The executive culture is the worst I've ever seen anywhere, and if you think they care anything about your practice you are a chump.

The only thing this company knows how to do is buy business - pay for contracts, buy labs, buy veterinary hospitals, buy VetStreet?? seriously - the only reason for this acquisition is it's another window into your practice.

If you have a another viable option for reference laboratory services, you should seriously look at it, because you do not matter to Antech.
 
OK, now i know what we are talking about here! I don't know anything about who went to who's room, but i saw you all over each other at the craps table, so you aren't getting any sympathy here. The fact that you identified yourself shows an alarming amount of arrogance.

Regarding your ex peers, i dealt with both of them at different times. Felt sorry for him, because the little hole in Memphis was obviously a hen house. She was damn good, and i'm suprised she got let go too? I thought she quit after her son passed away.

Regardless, it's a sterling example of what is wrong with the whole Antech culture. Under new management? Nepotism at it's finest. I think he must have some dirt on someone. It's unheard of, even for Antech, to put someone so clueless in that type of position. You couldn't make that shit up.

The bottom line is that the company has lost connection with both the marketplace and the client. Both Heska and Idexx have had incredible growth in Q3, while we post a measly 2%? Considering we had a price increase of 6%, that's a lot of business out the door. Idexx reference grew 10%, so tell me who has the better strategy? I think we all know the answer to that.
 
I don't think putting someone in charge of test xpress is really a position of authority, lol, but i agree with your sentiment. BA is the epitomy of a dumbass. They should have put him in an office somewhere and made sure he never touched a client. Let's hope this isn't the new prototype for upper management. They are sludging the bottom of the barrel with some of the new rep hires - maybe it will make JD feel smarter if he surrounds himself with morons at the next level.
 
This is some culture you guys have going here. We are leaving Antech because we lost our rep, and she was the glue that held us to the company. I was sorry to see her go, but it looks like it was a smart move on her part. This company needs to clean up it's act, and it sounds like your leadership should be the first to do so!
 
The culture of the company is never going to change, it's deeply engrained and very lucrative for the upper echelon. If you have expectations that they have your - the customers - best interest in mind, then you are sadly mistaken. ANY relationship ANTECH fosters is strickly for the benefit of gathering market data to help drive acquisitions.

ALL GROWTH IS DRIVEN BY ACQUISIONS AND PRICE INCREASES.
