Totally agree, it is often who you know or how you rub the right people. Take that however you like. wink wink.There is no rhyme or reason to how people get promted at this company. The promtion process is a joke. I have watched undeserving idiots at the bottom of the totem pole get promoted left and right while those who actually deserve it not get promoted at all. There are no real growth opportunities here for a TM unless you are one of the favorites. It is all based on favortism.

Agree totally. All you needed to know the truth about how this organization, um, company, (no organization at all, sorry), promotes/recognizes employees is to just attend National Meeting. Margaret wins "Behaviors" Award and a trip? Really? So she got all those votes from the field and home office for Quickbase? Really? Over the guy who ran the pilot and has been here 37 years, really? And speaking of that guy here for 37 years. An ostomy RSM for 1 year gets promoted to Area Director for WOUND CARE!!! Really Mary? Like the entire company couldn't figure that one out. The poster above is correct. NEPOTISM and FAVORITISM is the norm in this organization. A much disliked RSM, second from the bottom of the in rankings, who knows little if anything about wound care chosen for a senior sales management position- Area Business Director, over far more competent candidates.
Awards give at a SALES MEETING to IT people????????WTF??? Clueless IT dweebs promoted and allowed to basically run the company??? Treating the sales team like crap??? Rearranging territories in March (for the second time in 8 months) so we can better focus on accounts that the reps never called on - Great idea!!

It infuriated me that Margaret got an award. I could not even bring myself to clap. She did not deserve any award. Quick Base is the stupidist thing ever. What is the point other than Micromanaging us? What is this system tracking? Who is it really helping? Margaret and her stupid Quick Base need to go. Right along with War Room calls. Get a normal CRM system that actually serves a purpose.Agree totally. He deserved to be promoted to Area Sales Director. He has won multiple awards as RSM and leads a successful team. I am disgusted by the behaviors of management. Hard work, successful track record and tenure is not rewarded my upper management. It is like a slap in the face.Agree totally. Investors please take note. This management team does not have a clue and are in process of running this once great company into the ground. Please find a better and more competent management team. All of the changes that they have made are disasterious. We do not have the right group leading Wound Care. Send Help!!Yes. Salesforce is the answer. But first get rid of the entire wound care management team that Tim and Doug hired less than 2 years ago. They are incompetent and know NOTHING about the business or the customer. If you don't believe that they are incompetent, let them continue to run things, and you can all meet for a war room on the unemployment line.
Let see, no new products because private equity disbanded our R & D and marketing departments (8 years ago) and then financially raped the company, paying themselves huge dividends and leaving the company with a boat-load of debt at exorbitant interest rates. Lets not forget that they, (private equity) off-shored us to the UK (how American) to save money on corporate taxes ( I guess they didn't forsee Trump).
