Get ready for changes. GP has pulled in many people and asked them many hard questions. Many don’t know how to answer them. Accountability is an understatement. You will see many leave and many be fired. No one is safe and most of the farmers will be gone. Wouldn’t want to be a tenured rep on the bottom third of rankings.
Well at Convatec if you are a man in the bottom third of the rankings then you get promoted. Just look at who was given a promotion into a new training role.
 




Exciting times are ahead for those of us that bring value. If you don't bring value, I can assure you it has been noted. No more flying under the radar. No more free rides. The bar is being raised. This is NOT a Pharma job anymore. Work hard, work smart, rise above the mediocrity and you may keep your job. Great place to be if you have what it takes.
Hilarious! Please tell me where these exciting times you spoke of are. At this company if you bring Value then you are treated like crap. That is what the problem is. The free riders that are at the bottom of third of the rankings are the ones getting promoted. If we are supposed to be working smart then why the hell do we have daily quotas on call volume and Quick Base? That is not working smart Do you honestly believe that 6-7 bullshit calls are more effective than 3-4 quality calls that actually yield results? Have you ever spent a day in the field as a rep? Get your head out of your ass. The most successful reps that I know at Convatec take the time to prepare and pre call plan 3-4 appojntment per day and have excellent results doing it that way. Quality over Quanity. That is basic sales 101. If the bar is truly being raised then we need to start by getting rid of Quick Base and getting rid of upper management.

The poster above is correct. NEPOTISM and FAVORITISM is the norm in this organization. A much disliked RSM, second from the bottom of the in rankings, who knows little if anything about wound care chosen for a senior sales management position- Area Business Director, over far more competent candidates.

Awards give at a SALES MEETING to IT people????????WTF??? Clueless IT dweebs promoted and allowed to basically run the company??? Treating the sales team like crap??? Rearranging territories in March (for the second time in 8 months) so we can better focus on accounts that the reps never called on - Great idea!!

This is why I'm leaving- ENOUGH - You can't fix stupid.
Well said . Many tenured reps are now calling on accounts that they have never called on before. It is liek starting all over again. All the relationships that were built over several years in old terriory are flushed down the shitter.
 


Actually all leadership and direction is the work of Christian, Charles and Rebecca - so I guess it is not working for you? Maybe you should hold them accountable along with your managers.
But wait, what is happening to them? Was Christain’s role just eliminated last month? And now other changes are starting to occur....
But that still leaves the rest of you incompetent fools on the management team. When will you be given the boot? ALL of you need to go. Surgical and chronic being split up happened after Christian was moved out of his role. It was George that was responsible for that change. Frankly Christian had more of a clue than any of you brainless morons running the franchise now. They need to ask him back. At least he carries himself in a prefessional and respectable manner unlike George.
