Six years ago I watched this on my team. He was my partner and would've been a great manager if our boss hadn't gotten rid of him. He was our equivalent to a DST, inherited and unwanted. She was my teammate and friend in the region, so devastated and humiliated that she quit rather than turn him in.
My "leader" ex-manager is still there with a team full of apaths.
