Who else is leaving?

Akorn's best move would be:
1. Bump Sales Force to $65k Base… $35k Bonus.
2. Contract with Fleet Management Company for company cars.
3. Lower 2014 quotas by 10% since samples have been spotty and coverage sucks!

Stop the bleeding… stop the mass exodus… start the recovery!

He asked Raj to do the ALS ice bucket challenge

Home office employee here. I have been with Akorn 5+ years. The post about the Tampa rep has it totally wrong, if you were in home office when it took place you could have seen the reaction of everyone here in the office excited and happy and clapping that someone stood up and asked a question to Raj about something/anything. Raj opened the floor up to questions and we are all sure he didn't want any questions but when he got it he was embarrassed. The fact of the matter was that everyone wanted to ask the question and nobody else stood to ask, yet everyone wanted to know the answer. The truth is a few senior managers reached out when the question happened in 100% support. If you were here at Akorn at that time you would have known that our bonus checks had been pushed back for two weeks and then again another two weeks without any information about why from senior management. Part of the problem here at Akorn is that senior management wants feedback but only if it's positive and it's working. The truth behind all this is more and more outside sales force is looking to leave or leaving for more money. I enjoyed working with both the Tampa rep and the Charlotte rep and wish them the best. Being in home office we hear things good and bad, I'll set it straight that Brett and Raj reached out to the Tampa rep to find out first hand what is with the decision to leave. If we know the Tampa rep then they won't hold back with their answers to hopeful help Akorn in the future. The truth in home office is that Raj hides behind Bruce, and Bruce hides behind Brett, instead of Bruce and Raj coming to the front lines and communicate to all employees outside and in home office.

Thanks Kim, but I cannot believe that RAj reached out to anyone as too amny of our good reps have quit in the last year without any reaction from the executive team.

I call BS on a lot of this...they reached out to the Tampa Rep?!!! Very, very unlikely...they know the problems (Rep compensation) but refuse to do anything because the stock and the company are growing

If you are referring to Kim R, she has not been with Akorn for 5+ years. I don't buy that Raj reached out to Tampa rep for feedback, considering he fired him (briefly) last year. Should have stuck with that decision, dude was a straight up tool.
