CDC panel clears way for Pfizer booster shots, but divided on broader use

A group of advisers to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention unanimously supported offering a booster dose of Pfizer and BioNTech's coronavirus vaccine to adults over 65 years old and, after some back-and-forth, also recommended a third shot for younger people over 18 with underlying medical conditions.
