Looks like Sanofi-Aventis is slated to layoff 400 more employees. According to Jim Edwards at BNET Pharma, these layoffs are the result of three factors: declining sales and/or generic threats to the Sanofi drugs Ambien CR, Actonel, and Aplenzi.
The Cafepharma Sanofi message board is lit up with this news, including word of a mandatory employee conference call for Tuesday.
