The Boy’s! - Axsome Therapeutics

  • It's truly inspiring how JH, JV, and MS, our national business directors in title alone, have managed to elevate "yes-boy" to an art form, securing their positions with SFM – who arrived via broomstick to abscond with not just our souls, but possibly small dogs too.

    One almost has to admire their unique career trajectories: JH, a veritable human locomotive of disaster at Avanir; MS, narrowly escaping the unemployment line at Lundbeck by virtue of a strategic transfer; and JV, a true pioneer in the field of thought-free obedience. This stellar cast of cast-offs, under the tutelage of their, shall we say, unconventional leader, seems to be doing a bang-up job of turning the company into a revolving door for new hires. Who needs stable growth when you can have a daily announcement about another fresh face joining the implosion? It certainly keeps things exciting, doesn't it?

    Confident and secure people tell the truth. They don’t just make comments that aren’t true just to spare hurt feelings. Stop blaming other people for your lack of success.

    I could see myself agreeing with you. However, every time we hire these contract companies we find out they metrics are so minimal- 4 calls/day, no sales pressure, no oversight whatsoever, guaranteed gig for 12, 18, 24 months. I am encouraged to believe a union would move us closer to what a contract sales force looks like.
