  • That is the typical response of a low performer. They always tell us how great they are. High performers move forward with their careers and adjust with the changes in the working environment. Look at your own words. You say that you are not valued by your company. High performers are always valued by their companies. Low performers are not.

I am not the original poster, but you are an ass. People make their own choices. I agree with planning for retirement. I have been doing so since my early 20s, but this person is looking for support. Give advise but don’t dump on their career. Maybe they chose family? I would guess you are just trying to feel secure by insulting someone else and not secure with your own self.
This industry has changed in the 25 years dramatically and we have slowly become a number. I have seen extremely successful people get laid off and yes they are usually picked up quickly but don’t tell me if you are successful and respected bad things can’t happen. Due to legal and “projected scripts” performance cannot be qualified and therefore we have become a number. I have been lucky in my career and have avoided being laid off but my time is coming. Age discrimination is a real thing
Be the light not an ass.

  • Behind the scenes Bea is mean, very emotional and has a hot temper. She is very insecure and doesn’t have the true respect of what a leader needs. She should go back to Spain. I don’t see her gaining the respect she needs in the U.S.
