This industry has changed in the 25 years dramatically and we have slowly become a number. I have seen extremely successful people get laid off and yes they are usually picked up quickly but don’t tell me if you are successful and respected bad things can’t happen. Due to legal and “projected scripts” performance cannot be qualified and therefore we have become a number. I have been lucky in my career and have avoided being laid off but my time is coming. Age discrimination is a real thing

If you are the type who is using the excuse that you are waiting for "Leadership" to inspire you and give you a message then you are the problem and 99% of the reason we have a 1.5% share. Feels good to blame it on others and wait around to be told what to do.
