The SEC is Alabama...and that's about it. UGA is a perennial pretender, U of F same thing since the Tebow era., as well as A&M. Sure LSU and Auburn show up once a decade from time to time and that's about it. UK, Vandy, USC, Ole Miss, Mizzou, MSU, Arkansas, UT, are as bad of a bottom of a conference as anywhere else. Couple that with the SEC plays a very weak non-conference schedule and it's Alabama driving the success of that conference. You can chant SEC, SEC all day long but it's really Roll Tide is what all of you should be chanting. The ESPN hype machine did a great job promoting it as a conference...at the end of the day Alabama could go the Notre Dame route and that conference would look more similar to the other Power 5 conferences.
What's even better is Saban isn't even a Southerner...
