Geron

I’ve been a field rep for a long time. i want good, quality data, not cut corners. Blaming legal and regulatory people scares the shit out of me. Do you think they redline marketing materials to hurt Geron? They are trying to protect the company but marketing continues to blame med affairs and legal for bad collateral materials. It’s only a matter of time before the FDA finds out and brings the forces to bear. JZ hasn’t a clue as to what’s really happening. Give me a med affairs team I can respect and a legal team who is conservative working with regulatory.

By the way Geron had several offers to sell early but our CEO turned them down. Now we’re headed to the discount bin.

Obviously you don't know the industry very well. Many small start ups have these type indications to get themselves on the market. The goal of the company "with additional clinical trials" is to move up to first line therapy. The FDA will allow in that setting due to unmet need. The companies use the revenue from that space to help fund further trials to move into first line. Everybody wants a blockbuster but as there are proven therapies in the first line you have to prove yourself in further line setting. That's why you need good reps to sell in this setting because it's not easy. Small startups who understand oncology know they need the best but to get the best you have to pay them. Good reps love selling in this environment because there is typical high reward. You will get nowhere with Reach and Frequency in this space.

What JZ has done has taken the High Reward off the table, goals that if you even hit them you don't make any money. He thinks we can be first line without the clinical data to prove it. That's a "No No". Good reps with autonomy to do their job get paid well for their efforts. Micromanaging, Reach and Frequency, and little incentive will make a potential great company into a company that falls to the wayside.
Sounds like an oppy for a turnaround after a little reorg. Gotta hit reset button.

What you guys don't understand is that good reps are rare. You run this group off you can't hire good reps anymore. If I get a call from a recruiter, I call my friends who use to work at said company. If the response is, you don't want to work there, I'm done. All the other reps have to mention is, "reach and frequency" I'm out at that point. This company is toast

The window of time for this shrinks every hour. If they don’t get a CEO in here soon to get rid of the layers of incompetence, this place will be done and will not make it to an MF readout.

Ziegler, Hassard, The Entire Marketing Dept, Med Affairs and creepy Joe Eid, IT, Comm Ops, Compliance, Legal, Finance… ALL NEED TO BE CLEANED OUT

Got to get rid of the layers and layers of lazy, stupid, arrogant and wasteful people with laughable titles and salaries and restore with talent that actually understand commercialized biotech in this space.

We are all absolutely done and looking for new jobs. In this current environment, only massive incompetence and aligning with dishonest people to do dishonest things will be rewarded.

By hiring more reps, managers, etc., is the perfect example of how ignorant the Jims are of how a to run a rare disease, hematology company. Most of the reps have almost 30 year’s experience and have their customers on speed dial. Most have won multiple President Clubs. It isn’t about not getting in front of the doctors that is the problem. The problem is lack of data, lack of use bc medical hasn’t done their job with the KOLs, marketing’s messages have been all over the place, etc. Instead of spending money on bringing in more people, that won’t make an impact, spend the money on AD BOARDS, clinical trials, etc. They are running off reps that they will never be able to be replaced and who will discourage anyone from applying. Geron isn’t Pfizer where people are replaceable. It is a small biotech in rare disease. It is not big pharma where you can burn and churn reps. The only reason Geron is still around is bc of the 50 reps. Lose them and Geron will burn to the ground.

little reorg -- haha, you're totally clueless! The Dimwit Jims have lost the sales team. Screwed the reps on compensation, blamed them on the earnings call for the failings of upper mgmt, and now threaten them with the overlays. Every rep except those few who have mgmt aspirations LOL -- Afterall the jagoffs in mgmt here are a low bar to step over -- is looking for a job. Mgmt is incompetent, morally corrupt, and driving the company into the abyss.

JZ has never worked in this category before and it shows. His strategy tanked Geron and he is a hire for our failed CEO. Anyone who believes this company is coming back is delusional

.....but we're all replaceable, right? I know I am.

Let's say your the Lakers, everybody, yes is replaceable. But what happens when you get rid of LeBron James and your other top talent? Let's say you start measuring LeBron James on how many shots he takes compared to how many shots he makes, you have no metric for his defensive play, your bonus is placed on shots only, "his reach and frequency" every player instead of passing just shoots trying to hit the metric. The players arnt incentivised to play as a team. There are multiple conference calls and meetings instead of practice.

The players listen to endless calls about how they need to shoot more shots. The Lakers start losing so then the new owner starts blaming the team to the media. The new owner starts cutting their bonus. None of these highly skilled players are making any money. The team hates being part of what was once a great team. The new owner won't listen to the coach or any of the players on how to improve. The new owner doesn't want the players to use their instincts that use to make them successful. Just finger pointing and more metrics. All the players want to be traded. The fans (or the street) to complete the analogy start revolting and nobody attends games.

Your correct all of them are replaceable but your now recruiting division 2 talent as they will align with the metric. The Lakers won't be successful and the new division 2 players that stand out will want to be traded after a few games. That's where we are now. Will this company ever be successful? You tell me!

This is brilliant, the only thing you left out was that the new owner was a high school soccer coach and doesn't understand basketball.

This is a direct commit from one of the Jim's, probably JZ himself. He poses these questions as a "HF" guy or a rep. Trying to prove his point. JZ we are way smarter than you and it's so easy to school your incompetent clueless thought process. The problem is instead of actually listening you are doubling down on your clueless incompetent " micromanagement" style. If you were still in the military your the type that would be caught by friendly fire. Your no leader and no matter how much you post, we see through you. Your a failure, always been a failure and nobody respects you.

Less than 30 days to further confirm the ineptness of JZ on his 2nd earnings call. Dawn and the other BOD members sat idly by and let Chip screw the launch of Rytelo with inadequate MA market prep, off base marketing messaging, lack of KOL development etc etc etc. I'm confident she'll give the Jims another 6 months to push the company closer to BK before putting lipstick on this pig with fire sale pricing.

When the lawsuits come I hope they will look at extravagant dinners for Geron people.
Oh No! Did someone add the guacamole to their Chipotle burrito?

We are .40 away from our stock entering delisting territory by Nasdaq, we have bigger problems than dinner. If you’re worried about spend, direct your concern towards the millions of dollars in salaries being spent on layers of incompetent and unnecessary management. Be concerned that in less than 6 months Ziegler and Hassard have destabilized the entire commercial org and have no clue what they’re doing. Look at JZ’s spend on consultants as he pathetically clings to anything he can to masks his abhorrent morals and reckless incompetence.

Look at the absolute useless salary of Jim Hassard who has done nothing except create division, conflict and complete destruction in his short time here. The man is an absolute joke and embarrassment and is the only person dumber than Ziegler which is even more terrifying.

Look at the unnecessary expansion plan that will cost Geron millions that is completely unnecessary at this time with 1 product and will completely disrupt the sales force.

Look at the Board who collects payment and allows this incompetence to fester and pray the shareholders vote some sense into this organization and vote out the stagnant and useless members who have contributed to this destruction.

It's time to delist the company and send them packing. Let go of all employees and sell any assets at bargain basement prices. Chip is responsible for this mess. I have zero confidence in what I'm selling. Marketing is cutting corners on sales materials and the strategy has changed too much to include too many segments.
