I hate working here, but honestly don't want to job hop. These D-BAGS actually made us memorize VERBATIM instrument and procedural pitches or you get fired (I'm talking about 30 pages VERBATIM) They take this seriously. You will sit in a room with trainers that barely finished college and don’t know the pitches themselves and get graded (per sentence). This all has to do with the king of all d bags himself, Pat Fabian. We will get into that later. Talk about growing up and realizing that you have these rotten managers treating you like a robot. The manager that I have is a joke! Management is full of wonderful idea's HAHA.....Practice development plans "PDP", presentations which we have to give to them and get scored on. Hahaha, what a genius idea. Most of my doctors actually laugh when I first presented. The only reason the products are being used is because of reimbursement. Don’t get me wrong, the products are pretty cool and do work, but seriously cut the bullshit, it’s a freaking balloon. Once reimbursement gets a slap job it's going to be interesting as hell with the rising quotas and ridiculous paperwork needed just to maintain the job. I will continue to sell and hit the numbers or at least come close and watch the big dogs like Fabian exit the company. People are nice to his face then laugh after he leaves the room) . Have you ever seen the episode of 'How I met your mother' where there is this picture of the Captain. Bottom 1/2 of his face says OH HELLO THERE, the top half of his face says I'll KILL YOU, well, that's him. I can't believe I progressed into a stupid labor-intensive career of sales and I end up working for these shit heads. Don't even let me start with the training department. All but one of them has a real education or even a science background and pretend that they went to medical school. OOO BIG DEAL you can read a fucking CT, it's been the same CD slide deck for the past 40 training classes. This job absolutely makes me realize that I should have continued my education. Sometimes I think it's better to put the work in and be a doctor or at least a PA. Until next time......I may throw my relieva luma century sinus illumination device in my ear and maybe follow up with my vortex to clean out all the bullshit I have learned here. Baaaahahahahahahahah

Any update on the 'product pipeline' problems? Are we going to see the inVENT/Tula anytime soon?

TULA will not be a meaningful product in terms of sales until at least the end of 2012. More likely mid 2013. Great outlook for TULA, if and ONLY if BCBS and Medicare buy into it and help create a new code and reimbursement for this product. If not, it's dead. It's Acclarent's great white buffalo.

The business development team better act fast and aquire something or someone soon... This company is going to continue to be on Pruden's shit list for under delivering on high expectations if they don't act soon. In-Office and Cyclops ain't gonna to get the job done this year.

...but wait, I thought the e team said they are only 10% penetrated into the market for FESS. Great sales job guys! Did you get J&J to buy the undercoating as well???

Would someone be kind enough to share the name and email of the hiring manager for the open Atlanta ENT Consultant position with Acclarent? I have many years of experience calling on ENTs in Atlanta, and would like to submit my credentials to the appropriate person instead of relying solely on the online job boards. Thanks in advance.

Why did only 6% of the Acclarent sales force make their yearly quota in 2010 and only 19% in 2011? (enter punch line here)

If you're interested in coming to work at Acclarent, I suggest you look into this fact before making a move...
