Any word on re-org

It is true many people received 30 days notice and more continue. JJ standardized on 30 days. You are correct that other organizational changes in past years offered 60 and even 90 day notices. Welcome to the 30 day era. Also of important note. Unless you are there on Oct 1 you can forget about any pro-rated bonus for your efforts this year. Makes the 30 days even more important right now as individuals are being separated in September.

Yeah credo

J&J is paving its path to hell with this anti-Credo behavior. Senior management is panicking and abandoning all the core concepts that made this company different and great. I predict a serious downward spiral, Weldon will retire, and a new CEO will take 10 years to rebuild the company. If it doesn't get sold off for parts before that...

The UNIX provisioning team and the mainframe team took a bullet. I think the UNIX team included sexy Cyndi Rowe. Who could not administer her way out of a cheese maze for mice!

But she can sure play that guitar! Funny thing - they decided to outsource the mainframe and then get rid of the entire freakin team that runs it BEFORE it is moved and tested at Verizon. Good thing DR is so smart and can handle anything.

Folks, make backup copies of your resume quickly!

Sorry the manager of that area also got 30-days. We are so screwed.

You know I don't even know who she is but it's just not right to f with people using their real names and they hide as little snakes when no one knows who you are. How about next time you use someones real name with your comments you sign your own , dicks

Agreed on this. Give the lady a break, that was not necessary. She lost her job and has to deal with this crap. That's f'ed up.

"It seems that LC is using these "cuts" to whittle the org down so it is small enough to completely outsource. Part of the problem with the HP transition last year was the org was too large, the tools were in place and HP would not use what was already in house, and it was too large to implement their tools in a cost effective manner.

Making so many cuts, having less employees, will allow LC to present a much smaller organization that is not performing well and get the whole group outsourced. Earning her the big bonus for "cost savings" before she bolts out the door."

amen amen amen amen.

you have seen the light!

BTW, ease up on those who have lost their jobs, we are more than just JNJ employees, we are all people with feelings.

Not sure MH should take the fall. TEDS has been due for a long time! What have they accomplished... JC - that is a different story, putting ops through this once delivering pink slips then pulling them back and again 1 yr later we are going through it again. That is wrong and she should be gone!

Does MH agree with all the LC's reorg moves?

Did Bob K. get let go???? I work at an opco and he and his team provided service to me. My assumption is that he did get let go since he is now wiped off the J&J map. WHY????????????? He was a solid manager that was always available for support. JUST WRONG!!!!! Guy worked hard and always cared about J&J and his clients. Shame on ITS leadership letting a good solid IT guy go.... Makes no sense.....

Yes, BK was let go. And it makes no sense.

The site has been very quiet. Does anyone have any thoughts on when the new re-org will take place?

Is it the end of this month? What area(s) are being looked at?

Holy Shit. It hasn't even been a year since that post, and now we're hearing about another reorg? How the hell is anyone supposed to know who is doing what?

We have four organizations with no mention of Shared Services because that's a bad thing apperently.

Demand, Supply, Enterprise PMO, and Foundational functions???

Is this just another opportunity for another round of regrettable losses and displacements?

Why would they remove JC's responsibility for sourcing and at the same time place VMO under another area entirely? Sounds weird... Also, how does this affect NJ going forward?

Probably because JC's stock is dropping, and if she only has Ops left and that gets outsourced/reorged, then it's bye bye JC!
