Dermtech

JA or BS? After considering an opportunity...I’ve heard a lot... Sounds like a sweatshop, dermtech managers have zero training, arrogant, narcissistic behaviors and only look out for themselves.

Anyone have information on the expansion openings? Is this a good opportunity & what is the base pay like? Interested in Los Angeles opening and have b2b, derm and pathology experience.
Thank you!

j.a. Has ruined the careers of two very talented reps who gave everything to their work and were thrown under the bus by JA because he is friends with his hiring manager. Incredibly inappropriate and highly illegal
I know of both of the reps he destroyed. He did it during the height of the pandemic which ensured both reps and their families would suffer a long time before any jobs became available to replace their loss of income. People like him never consider the extended ramifications of their selfish actions and should never have been put in a position allowing them to wield the power to wreck people’s lives. Shame on the company for allowing this cancer to drag their good name down with his actions! It’s not like you haven’t been warned about his past. You would think a California based company would be proactive in their assessment of management to avoid a person of this low character. He is a misogynistic bully, wake up corporate.

Does it matter? If someone as toxic as JA is allowed to be there by TW’s approval, what does that say about the leadership and future direction of DermTech? This fish is rotting from the head, JA is a symptom and not a cause. Stay away until this obvious case of nepotism is resolved by the business world’s version of natural selection. Don’t hold your breath though, TW and JA are firmly entwined with the optics of perceived success. One can not go down without the other taking a hit. It will be very amusing to watch how corporate disentangles themselves from this P.R. nightmare.

JA is gone. Hopefully, others will follow. If you want an entry level position with zero training or ability to escalate your career then this is for you. Unrealistic goals with a non-competitive base salary.
