Is HQ trying to justify their jobs by coming up with these ideas and throw it onto the salesforce?

You think ASCRS is the place to advertise and find buyers for Xiidra? You’re delusional. It’s a cataract and refraction meeting with surgeons, none of which want anything to do with DED.

Showcasing Ken Jeong at ASCRS is evidence that the brass at NVS have no idea what they’re doing. They are the masters of wasting money, the booth alone is a testament to that. There is NO reason to have that big of a presence at ASCRS, they can hardly get docs to leet with them and now that TS is gone, forget about it.

The NVS booth was a ghost town at SECO and that’s all OD’s and probably the heaviest meeting in terms of disease state education. All of these wasted marketing dollars are a smoke screen and although they may be putting lipstick on a pig, ASCRS isn’t close to a place where deals like this get done. NVS is too far upside down on xiidra and too proud to admit it.
 


I agree with the above poster…of all places ASCRS for Ken Juang? I mean who thinks of this?! Have him go to an OD meeting (where they care wayyy more about treating DED) its so stupid the wasted dollars spent here.

How about we get on some coverage WITHOUT a PA. This would make offices and patients lives easier. Offices are burnt out completely. So take that money and actually make it about the patient. Not on some glorified celebrity that doesn't need the money.
Leadership touts from the stage. “It’s all about the patient” when reality you’re doing nothing for the patient. Reps are burnt out by these metrics. They have a million items they need to check off before going into a clinic. Again, isn’t it about our account and the patients we’re trying to help? Yet, we are constantly being told we aren’t good enough EVERY single day! Tad, i thought you were going to “lift the heaviness” instead you dump the heaviness on us. We just want to be there for our offices and their patients without this cloud over us all day. Do this, do that, oh gotta do that too, wait ohh another thing to do! Come in people! Face reality!
 


Tina is what happens when people are in roles that are way over their heads. T4G has been a disaster with restructuring people and then somehow less than qualified people are getting high level roles. Novartis let the best leaders go with T4G and left the shit

Going to have fun and he had 0 answers. The metrics are to drive what little sales that will generate and then drop the price and sell. Ill say again no one is going to pay what they want for a 6 year old drug that struggles for a third of the market. That is without the 3 new drugs being released in the next year that all treat targeted areas of DED. New competitors parroting that inflammation is the result of DED and not the cause. That is Gonna be a fun time.

No offense, who wants Novartis reps to launch a drug, 99% can’t sell, entitled, have done nothing w Xiidra, which was built off the backs of the Shire team they canned when they acquired X.

It may sell a billion and novartis will still be under water by about 3.6 billion. Doesn't matter the division will be under a different company soon. For your sake just hope they keep you.
 






Not to mention new competitors eroding market share, new part d contracts next year that may favor generic, and current competitors getting better coverage and starting to grow. Add the fact they probably will raise goals another 20%. Sounds like a fun ride.
