Basically Esperion is a monarchy. Tim is the Kim Jong of Esperion. What a mess!
I think we all need to have a clear understanding of esperion. This is not a public company, esperion is Tims company.
He will fire whoever he wants to with no warning. This includes HR and compliance so no one is safe or can protect anyone
He set travel policies only for himself so he travels like the king he thinks he his but on one else can
Raises and bonuses are only approved by Tim. Many years employees get 50% of bonus while Tim collects 100% (look it up)
He surrounds himself with family member employees to keep a tight grasp on what is going on.
There is a major fear in esperion right now that any zoom call can be Tim and Heather firing you no warning no notice
Look at post called is it true from a few weeks ago. That post called out that in the last year Tim separated with alot of people. Compliance office, commercial officer, comptroller, head of clinical, 2 heads of HR, VP regulatory. Now you already need to add to this list the new cuts. All procurement, vp sales, most managed care, most MSL's, another HR head, head of financial planning. When does this stop? When is Tim accountable?
Tough times don’t last, tough people and organizations do. We are on the cusp of greatness in 2021, the recent momentum coupled with the alliance deals and the forthcoming groundbreaking cardiovascular outcome trials ensure our place in cardiovascular treatment advancements. Sure it sucks that you weren’t hired but isn’t it time to direct your anger towards something productive? The train has left the station.
Let’s be honest, you slipped and fell in the interview and got decapitated.LOL..Yes, the train has left the station.
Glad I didn't climb aboard since this is derailing as we post.
From what I hear about 2 dozen or so. No one saw it coming. I heard their bonuses were cut way low. Severance packages were small. NO ONE feels safe. How many more people fired this week? I wonder if bonuses were pushed out so these newly unemployed by Tim will not be paid out? A new low?

Great insight. At this point there are a lot of us that would like to see this public. Also I count about 26 more people lost their job last week. I wonder how that was handled. If the thread is true about how Esp handled this employee and fired him if what was happening in his personal life is very disturbing. I have been there myself several times in my life personally as well as have had several employees that went through similar tragedies I can only empathize. Advice on EEOC and a lawyer are not bad ideas. EEOC may or may not get involved depending on cause or discrimination. A lawyer plays to the making this publicly aware would hurt the company but probably has no legal path for the family. Just my thoughts.
