Ex Kala employee here, just read on LinkedIn you are being purchased by Alcon. Sorry to hear..but if our acquisition taught us anything it's get your shit together and quick! Hopefully you all get treated better than we did. Best of luck to you!

I talk with my former Kala rep quite frequently and from what I understand they were told in the end of May that Alcon was buying them the deal closed in the beginning of July and they were given one week notice. They also only got a month of severance pay. From what I understand it wasn’t the best experience

You people are SAF. Alcon does not pay. Even if they retain you, you will have to reinterview and the salary will be significantly less. If you’re smart you will start looking.
