Every word of that is true. Don’t understand the I am better than you reference though. Aerie and our speakers were extremely shady. A lot of highly questionable/illegal activity happened here. Alcon won’t put up with it
 




there are some annoying trolls on here stirring the pot to get folks with real skin in the game fired up.

ignore them.

But if you are an Aerie field rep, then what to do next is simple.

Find another job asap.

The likelihood of Alcon retaining you is next to zero.

So, you better start now.

As far as keeping up the productivity and staying the course?

Evan has never had our backs. If your manager is quoting that spineless wimp they don’t care about you either. The good managers that really care are telling us to get out NOW.
 


I’ve waited for this moment when Aerie turns to nothing. Sales reps you better find a job ASAP! They will not be keeping many Aerie employees. Alcon prides itself on its own culture of which this crap hole company has none.

If they were a ‘good’ manager or had any leadership skills whatsoever, they wouldn’t be working at this company. All the managers and directors here were castoffs from other companies. Alcon will not retain any of them, and yes the word is out on how shady folks were at this crap company.

That’s not true. Some of the original DMs that started from the beginning are stand up people. It was the promotions that down graded the overall quality

evan is a self-serving pric. No matter what happens to him, he’ll make a nice penny off the stock. Plus he’ll probably get a bonus to keep folks from quitting and also if the company hits the $140 million year end goal. Business as usual.

Are these people serious? Why are we still doing field rides with our managers? They are leading us on a march off the cliff
 


They can shove their metrics, shove their field rides, shove their conf calls, shove their meetings—it’s over. They knew a while ago it was coming! Offer sat until we hit mission critical then executed. So we were set up by a weasel Evan to bust ass to then get let go. Wake up Evan has been a disgrace along with his RD’s since he took over! And in all fairness Raj did just what he was brought here to do!

very accurate. Raj did his job. Evan never looked out for us. I used to feel bad for all those that Maria bullied and fired. Now I am jealous of them. How can these people look at us with a straight face and tell us to keep pushing forward as if everything is going to stay the same. It is the same way the leaders stuck their heads in the ground as all the illegal stuff was going on with coupons, pharmacies, and our speakers.

Evan is financially incentivized to make the boat go faster. The more blood he can squeeze out of the sales force to the end, the more money he makes.
 


I find this thread very interesting. I left Aerie during the pandemic. So, the Almighty Vince and Mitro get canned (yes they cashed in). Welcome new CMO. What happened to Little Man Hollander and Big Man Rick Lewis? Company disbands Medical Affairs (no need for trolls to chime in). Alcon got out of the drop business years ago, to now get back with with Kala and Aerie acquisitions.

Hmm. Be careful who you step on while trying to climb the corporate ladder. Hoping people get what they deserve.

Me? I'm in a dream job, with a very reputable company, making 25k more, with awesome bonus and benefits. Aerie people need not apply.
