So sad to say but any African American manager in Chicago. Hedgeman just forced another rep out by her ridiculous management skills. Clasper lost two talented reps to other divisions because they can't stand him. All white reps want out of their territories. How can Chicago have so many black managers when the its population does not reflect that amount. Nor does the professional population, i.e. black Drs. equal the percentage of black managers. I would think we would more Jews, Indians, Filipinos,Arab and Hispanic managers. I know Pfizer wants an all black and women field force and if they keep promoting inept Black DBM's who are intentionally forcing out good White reps, they may get their way!

These guys pull stunts to look “cute” and then act shocked and disrespected when their name ends up here.

If you discuss the disparities favoring the diversity candidates of this company it is screened and eliminated. No matter how truthful, they are restricting anything that speaks the truth about how certain groups are given a leg up against everyone else. 1984 has come and gone but Orwell's premises are alive and well on cafepharma.

CP is just like facebook. They protect certain classes. It's quite obvious.

I've only seen them pull stuff that veers into racism. That should be pulled. If you're saying someone was only hired because of their race it is racist.

I really don't think they are screening as you say. Just look at the post above. It SCREAMS what you cited!

We must have the same manager, the guy is a complete micromanager of the worst kind, he thinks he isn't a micromanager so that makes it even worse, conference calls constantly about the same shit we spoke of the week before, completely embarrassing, has been banned from some of my top offices that this mgr demanded to see, wants you to follow routing but then changes it when he comes into my territory, makes a complete ass of himself, talks too much, and can't see that it's our access that is the problem, not the reps, he's already driven off some and more to follow.

The companies like "weak" people actually the whole industry likes weak people Dms and Reps alike. If your weak you will never go against the tide, stand up for what's right. Basically you just keep your mouth shut and be a robot. DMs are weak, they can't do the right thing ever they do what's good for them and their insecurities. They will masquerade as doing it for the company but literally it's for their own personal ego boost, weak. You will never find a Strong DM/REp around because they speak their mind, won't put up w/ bullshit and are when the DM acts like a child they stand up for themselves. These strong reps are usually ran out of town because they stand their ground and the DM can't stand it. DMs don't know what to do w adults they need weak to function. Weak Sheep get rewarded.

This is 100% true, except I'm still around. I have a 100% chance of never getting promoted due to my being as what you described. I tried to live with it, but instead have decided to fight back under the radar. Should take about a year before any results, if any, since corporate is in bed with each other and field management.

What industry/company will you last in if you constantly fight for what you think is right or don't agree with. In a utopian situation everything is perfect... management ALWAYS does the right thing, everyone gets along, all bosses are great and nurturing, all reps care about their jobs and do the right thing, the customer is always right and comes first.....everything is freakin wonderful. Please tell me where I can find that situation. Small companies? Startups? Tech companies? Government jobs (lol)? Other Pharma companies? Have you seen the links on other companies on this site? I'm curious where you think that exist. I'm not saying I don't agree with you- I'm just saying good situations/jobs are hard to find.

Excellent points. However, here you have a situation 'where all of us are equal, except some are more equal than others.'
