Why aren't any managers or CBD's let go? Aren't they supposed to be coaching their people up? When the reps do well, they go to COE and when the reps do bad, the rep gets fired with no sanctions on leadership... Congratulate the good ones, and get rid of the bad ones from all levels.

Every one of the Synagis reps think they died and went to heaven with Sobi. They have already demonstrated that they value their employees and know how to treat them, plus we got sweet offers! They are hiring like crazy to support us and acquire additional products in the rare disease space.

Stay tuned. Managers and CBDs were cut too or are being moved in to non leadership, dead end jobs with the hopes that their ego makes them quit.

BMS was a piece of shit company too.

The difference between AZ and BMS? BMS is a US company and they didnt give a rip at all about cutting losses and taking jobs. AZ still has some European culture underlying the treatment of employees. Just think, if the AZ US management team was acting alone, they would have been more cut throat in head count reductions a long time ago.

The UK could careless about US, but the approach has been way more generous over this past 5 years in PCP.
 
For those let go last week, did you get a email to warn you calls were coming? What was the process? My heart goes out to all of you. It’s a crappy way for the company to handle this. I hope you received nice packages.

Also curious about this!! Such an awful way to handle this....and right before the holidays. Sad. They truly don’t care about their people, regardless of the so called “values” they preach. Not to mention, no announcement of it company-wide, either. That’s a heck of a lot of people to let go of without even an acknowledgement of what happened. Shows VERY little care or concern on their part. I know this is rough, tough, big bad pharma and all....but wow. Just classless. Really leaves a bad taste for people who are still here, too.

Ya this was very European like! Fuck you! BMS would have at least given me a servance worth my tenure. BMS was an awesome company until AZ and Amlin fucked everything up. The Amlin deal was by far the worst ever and for AZ to let me go for because the manage care team can’t get a win is fucked up.
