So what you are saying is that the Legacy System, developed by Niznick in 2007, with surgical and prosthetic compatibility to Zimmer's Tapered Screw-Vent that he developed in 1999 and sold to Zimmer in 2001, (was an improvement on his 1986 straight Screw-Vent) "is a Copy of that implant." He sure didn't copy it very closely since the Legacy does not have a vent, has micro-threads and a longer cutting groove. ITS CALLED EVOLUTION! If it were a copy, he should have called it "Screw-No-Vent". Regardless, Implant Direct sure ate Zimmer's lunch with that implant....and his RePlant did the same to Nobel Biocare which had 5 straight years of lost sales after Implant Direct launched that product. Both of those companies were bought or merged with other companies in no small part due to Niznick's ability to read the market and realized that dentists wanted value as well as quality and innovation. Yes Niznick is gone from the management of Implant Direct BUT he still owns 25%. His name is used through Implant Direct's website so Danaher must believe Implant Direct benefits from his imprimatur.

I'll break it down for you because you are a little slow. Niznick owned Paragon. He invented the TSV. He sold it to Zimmer. He owned Implant Direct and created Legacy. If you think it's a copy of the TSV, so be it. He created both. It's a better version of it.

Nobody cares about the "nails or screws" or what they cost. Everybody cares about the Architect and the Carpenter and their vision and skills.

Newbies say: "my screw is better than your screw because..."
Veterans say: " my company is better than their because..."

Sales Professionals say: "What's a dental implant?"

That is why there are no professional sales people in Implants

no doubt funnel's suck. what we need to do is revamp our surgical kit and add drill stops etc.....give our marketing and branding a HUGE push....funnel's are a good start. But we need help from behind the scenes to put us on the map.....that is the only way to get new docs aboard. We need better branding. Doctors are still stupid and believe the higher priced implants are the way to go because they are sheep and do whatever their referrals want. They are listening to a GP who can't even take an impression. Go figure.

All valid points but how many times does this need to be said to the executives? The things we need is mentioned to them all the time and nothing ever gets done.

What should I do now ? Lower prices ? Fire some salesmen ? Cut commissions? Cut expense accounts ? Hire some skirts ? Steal some merchandise and sell it out of the trunk ? Loosen the lugnuts of the Boss' car ?

Danaher management should realize by now that Stratton is an inept executive. Just look at his track record. There are people out there with exceptional sales, marketing and management skills than Stratton. Stratton need to take a job with a copier company. He is the turd that won't flush.
